Carla Dewey Urban

Carla Dewey Urban. After growing up in interesting places like Minnesota, Ethiopia, and Brazil, I spent a lot of time studying, which resulted in a B.A. from Carleton College, an M.L.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an M.A. from Tulane University in Latin American Studies.

Prior to joining Minitex in 1995, I spent five years as the Latin American Cataloger for the Tulane University Library down in New Orleans, so if you need any help cataloging Spanish, Portuguese, or French materials, give me a call.

Mark Ehlert

Mark Ehlert. Mark Ehlert began his association with Minitex Contract Cataloging in September 2007. Prior to his present service as ConCats cataloger, he worked in a paraprofessional capacity at the University of Minnesota's Wilson Library (2004-2007) cataloging special collections materials and gift books. Earlier, he spent ten years (1994-2004) as part of the staff of Alcuin Library, which is located on the campus of St. John's University in Collegeville, Minnesota. There he was chiefly responsible for cataloging books, music sound recordings, and scores as well as managing the quality control unit.

In May 2007 Mark received his master's degree in Library and Information Science from Dominican University through the MLIS program offered by St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Sara Ring

Sara Ring. I grew up in Wisconsin before migrating to the Twin Cities. Here I earned my B.A. in Cultural Studies and Comparative Literature. I worked at Magrath Library on the St. Paul campus for a couple of years and discovered the library world.

I then moved back to Wisconsin and received my M.A. in Library and Information Studies at UW-Madison. There I worked for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Library doing a little bit of everything: cataloging, ILL, reference, web development... I also worked for two years at UW-Madison's College Library providing reference and working on web development projects.
