Upper Midwest CONTENTdm User Group on Facebook and Twitter

To complement the first online Upper Midwest CONTENTdm User Group (Nov. 8th & 9th), we have created a Facebook Page and a Twitter account!

Twitter

Follow the updates from the Upper Midwest CONTENTdm Planners by visiting their Twitter profile.

The official hashtag for our Nov. 8-9 Upper Midwest CONTENTdm User Group Meeting is #umcdm2010. If you’re not familiar with Twitter or using hashtags, it’s a way to tag your comments (tweets) with a topic. Then, users can search by that topic to join the discussion, or subscribe to an RSS feed and receive updates from users who are using that hashtag. For more about Twitter, see the links to Twitter's Help resources below.

Facebook

After logging on to Facebook, search for “Upper Midwest CONTENTdm User Group.” Or, just follow this link. We’re a “Page” rather than a “Group.” After finding our page, “Like” us and you’ll receive the most up-to-date announcements related to the Nov. 8-9th meeting in your own Facebook News Feed.

We’ll use this space to post announcements related to the upcoming Nov. 8th and 9th CONTENTdm User Group meeting, but it’s also meant to be a space for all CONTENTdm users in our region to share information and have discussions.

The 2010 Upper Midwest CONTENTdm User Group Planning Committee looks forward to your participation!

3rd Annual Upper Midwest CONTENTdm User Group Meeting

Save the Date

Based on feedback from CONTENTdm users in the region, we're trying something new this year. The entire user group meeting will be online, and staff will be able to attend from their computer. The planning group is busy working out the details of the event, and more information will be announced soon!

Mark your calendars for November 8-9, 2010.

Alert icon. Though we have two dates reserved, we will not be meeting for the full two days. Most likely, we will split the online meeting up over two half-days.
