Product Highlights
Evidence-Based Ebooks Selection
Your library gains access to a wide range of books on ScienceDirect for a minimal, up-front
fee determined by a percentage of the total value of content you choose and access for a full
12 months. Then, you decide which titles to purchase and keep in perpetuity, priced up to the
value of the initial content investment and based upon evidence-based usage of the full range
of content. This new and flexible
Evidence-Based eBook Selection pricing model for online books will help librarians maximize
their budget by purchasing only the book content that is used most by their patrons over time.
ScienceDirect
ScienceDirect's extensive and unique full text database
covers authoritative titles from the core scientific literature, including high-impact factor titles
such as The Lancet, Cell, and Tetrahedron.
More than 2,500 journals and more than nine million full-text articles are available in ScienceDirect.
College Editions
ScienceDirect College
Edition provides smaller academic institutions with affordable access to dedicated subject packages
in the physical, social, and health sciences that are complemented by content from online books and
pre-1995 journals. Institutions that qualify for the ScienceDirect College Edition: teach on an Associate,
Baccalaureate, or Master's level; do not award degrees at the doctoral level; have limited print subscriptions.
Eligibility is subject to a review of prior (3-year) subscription history.
