OCLC Electronic Lists

OCLC maintains a number of electronic lists to which you can subscribe in order to be kept up-to-date on the latest announcements pertaining to certain products and services.

Available lists include:

  • OCLC-CAT
    A discussion forum for library staff using or considering any OCLC cataloging and metadata services, such as WebDewey, Passport, CatME, Connexion and MARS.
  • DOCUPDATE-L
    Announcements of new and revised documentation added to OCLC's Web site.
  • OCLC ABSTRACTS
    A weekly summary for OCLC members that provides service news, tips, event reminders and more. Includes quarterly distribution of the OCLC Newsletter in electronic format.
  • OCLC-CJK
    OCLC CJK Users Group (discussion).
  • OCLC-SHARING-L
    Announcements, changes and enhancements to OCLC resource sharing services.
  • OCLC-WCA
    A discussion forum for library staff using or considering using the WorldCat Collection analysis service.
  • TECHBUL-L
    OCLC Technical Bulletins.
  • UL-L
    Discussion list of latest issues and concerns about union listing, with UL event announcements.

Subscribing is easy! Just visit the OCLC Web site and follow the instructions to subscribe. You may subscribe to as many of the lists as you wish. If you are already subscribed to any of these lists, you can also use this same site if you need to notify the list manager of a change of email address.
