East View Information Services offers the following newspaper databases:

All products are geared for libraries, with content updates, permanent URLs, usage reports, perpetual
access and direct authentication for an unlimited number of patrons.
Central Newspapers of Russia
A full-text database that delivers same-day access to 65 Russian daily and weekly editions. The search
mechanism enables you to conduct complex querying and global searching across all newspapers, as well as
within individual titles and issues. The database includes two million articles, with archives dating back
to 1980. Each day some 900-1000 new articles are added to the database. Over 800,000 articles are available
to date.
Russian Core Newspapers
Timely, full-text access to thousands of articles from the core newspapers and news magazines in Russia,
specially tailored to meet the needs of public library patrons. The database includes:

- Itogi
- Izvestiia
- Komsomolskaia Pravda
- Moskovskie novosti
- Moskovskii komsomolets
- Nezavisimaia gazeta
- Ogonek
China Core Newspapers
This full-text database of 362 newspapers offers titles from every province of China. Retrieve news from over
two million full text articles from every province since June 2000:
- Literature/History/Philosophy
- Politics/Military Affairs/Law
- Economics
- Education/Society
- Science and Technology
- Love/Marriage/Family/Health

License Agreements (Terms & Conditions)
A license agreement will be required; however, the appropriate agreement will be determined by the
database you select. Please contact East View to obtain an electronic version of the appropriate
license agreement.
How to Order or Renew
Orders are accepted at any time for a 12-month subscription.
Please complete the order/renewal form and fax it to Minitex at 612-625-3569. You will request the
appropriate license agreement from East View at the time you complete your order. You may forward
the completed license agreement to Minitex with your order form and Minitex will provide the agreement
to East View.
To pay by credit card, please complete the credit card authorization form, order
form and license agreement (if required), and fax all documents to our secure fax
line at 612-626-5380.
Statistics
Usage Data for China Core Newspapers
- Go to http://china.eastview.com/ulog/login.asp
- Log in with the username and password provided by East View at the time you subscribed.
- Choose a daily, monthly, or yearly report.
- Choose the day/month/year you want to view statistics for.
- Select type (general) and sort option (by username and database).
- Click Submit.
- Results can be copied and pasted into Excel to compile multiple search records.
Please note: The site is both username/password and IP sensitive. Therefore, you will only be
able to access usage data from one of your IP-authenticated computers.
Usage Data for Central Newspapers (Russia) and Russian Core Newspapers
- Go to http://online.eastview.com/logs/
- No log in is necessary. If you're using an IP-authenticated computer, you will be able to access usage data.
- Select a category and view results.
