EBSCO offers a variety of databases covering a wide range of disciplines on its EBSCOhost® platform. Features of EBSCOhost include:

  • More than 300 full text and secondary databases are available via EBSCOhost®.
  • Customizable and powerful search system and interface.
  • Customizable, bi-directional linking.
  • Results List features include: source types for narrowing results, popular limiters to refine results, instant citation preview icon, date slider bar for result refinement, and a Related Images Section.
  • Image Quick View adds pertinent thumbnail images such as charts, photos, maps and illustrations, from over 3,300 journals, to Result List items.
  • Folders allow users to collect results from different searches, store them in the Folder option and manage the Folder contents to print, email or save.
  • Searchable cited references allow users to locate additional information related to an article of interest.
  • Personalized accounts created by using My EBSCOhost allow users to save individual search results, search histories, persistent links to searches, Search Alerts, Journal Alerts, and web pages created using Page Composer, across multiple sessions, for use in future sessions.

The EBSCO agreement is standard for all of their products and does not require a signature. A copy is available here for your review and for those institutions that would like a copy for their files.

How to Order or Renew

Orders are accepted at any time. Please complete the order/renewal form and fax it to Minitex at 612-625-3569 (except in the case of credit card orders).

To pay by credit card, please complete the credit card authorization form, order form and license agreement (if required), and fax all documents to our secure fax line at 612-626-5380.

Statistics

You can access statistical reports, via EBSCOadmin, in the following way:

The Reports Menu Screen allows you to select from a variety of reports that are available to you. Selecting any one of these will bring you to a screen with options for you to select. In most cases you will need to select the fields you would like to include in your report, the field you wish to sort by and a date range. You will have the option to view the report on-screen and print it, or to email a delimited file to yourself.
