EBSCO offers a variety of databases covering a wide range of disciplines on its EBSCOhost® platform. Highlights of EBSCOhost include:

  • Approximately 200 full text and secondary databases are made available via EBSCOhost®.
  • Customizable and powerful search system.
  • Customizable search interface.
  • Customizable, bi-directional linking.
  • Selected EBSCOhost databases now contain full PDF coverage for hundreds of top magazines and journals dating back as far as 1965.
  • Folders allow users to collect results from different searches, store them in the Folder option and manage the Folder contents to print, email or save.
  • Searchable cited references allow users to locate additional information related to an article of interest.
  • Personalized accounts created by using My EBSCOhost allow users to save individual search results, search histories, persistent links to searches, search alerts and journal alerts across multiple sessions, and retrieve that information at a later time.

The EBSCO agreement is standard for all of their products and does not require a signature. A copy is available here for your review and for those institutions that would like a copy for their files.

How to Order or Renew

Orders are accepted at any time. Please complete the order/renewal form and fax it to MINITEX at 612-625-3569 (except in the case of credit card orders).

To pay by credit card, please complete the credit card authorization form, order form and license agreement (if required), and fax all documents to our secure fax line at 612-626-5380.

Statistics

You can access statistical reports, via EBSCOadmin, in the following way:

The Reports Menu Screen allows you to select from a variety of reports that are available to you. Selecting any one of these will bring you to a screen with options for you to select. In most cases you will need to select the fields you would like to include in your report, the field you wish to sort by and a date range. You will have the option to view the report on-screen and print it, or to email a delimited file to yourself.
