AccessScience is based upon the McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science
& Technology, 9th edition and its corresponding annual yearbooks, the
Dictionary of Scientific and Technical Terms, 6th edition.
AccessScience contains 8,000 articles written by the leading figures in
their fields—including 30 Nobel Prize winners, over 2000 science biographies
and 13,000 high-quality illustrations, news stories from Science News,
and McGraw-Hill science editors' selected Web sites for further research capabilities.
In addition, AccessScience is updated daily with new articles, research
updates and current events. More information, including reviews, can be found at
the McGraw-Hill AccessScience Web site.
This consortial purchase is being coordinated by the SOLINET Regional Network, but
all communication should be directed to MINITEX.

$.35 per FTE (2008-2009 pricing)
Please note that a $375.00 minimum applies.
Weighting Factors:
- Two-Year Colleges—50% of FTE enrollment in previous fall semester.

Four-Year Colleges & Universities—100% of FTE enrollment in previous
fall semester.
- High Schools (Grades 9-12)—75% of enrolled students.
- Junior High/Middle Schools (Grades 6-8)—25% of enrolled students.
- Public Libraries—5% of total population served.
License Agreements (Terms & Conditions)
Existing AccessScience Subscribers
There is no need to sign a new agreement.
New AccessScience Subscribers
Please review, sign and fax the license agreement along with the order form to
MINITEX (except in the case of credit card payment; see below for
fax number).
How to Order or Renew
The 12-month subscription period begins on July 1, and ends on June 30.
You may order at any time throughout the year, and your price will be prorated to
conclude on June 30. Mid-year subscriptions must be received by the 12th of each
month for a start date of the 1st of the following month.
Please fill out the order/renewal form, and complete the license agreement (new
subscribers only) and fax both documents to MINITEX (except in the
case of credit card payment).
To pay by credit card, please complete the credit card authorization form, order
form, vendor license agreement and fax all documents to our secure fax line at
612-626-5380.
Technical Support
Technical support is available Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. (Eastern
Time) and Saturday–Sunday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. (Eastern Time).
