MyiLibrary provides a faster and easier way to access collections of books, reports, journals, bulletins and other documents published by Inter-Governmental Organizations such as the World Bank, the United Nations and the International Labour Organization. Also available are book and journal collections from the world's major publishers such as Blackwell Science, Oxford University Press, Springer, Taylor & Francis, and Wiley.

MyiLibrary offers the ability to customize your collection and limit your costs by purchasing only the titles you need. Key features of the MyiLibrary platform include:

  • Full text searching—browse across all titles and search by title, author, ISBN, publisher, publication date, subject or keyword.
  • Copy, paste, and print—copy text and images from all titles into Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Note pad—access your own unique note pad where you can bookmark individual pages or chapters and build your own documents.
  • New title alerting—ensures you are kept up to date with all new titles in your subject area of interest.
  • Real-time reporting—generates real time reports on various aspects of usage, such as which titles were viewed, when and for how long.
  • Full MARC records—each title has MARC records that are downloadable into any library system allowing access directly to the title from a library OPAC.
  • Multiple authentication access—users can access MyiLibrary via various authentication methods, including Athens, IP address and referring URL.

Commercial Publisher eBooks

MyiLibrary offers titles from a wide range of publishers, including Bernan Press, Blackwell Publishing, Cambridge University Press, Greenwood Publishing, McGraw-Hill, Oxford University Press, Sage Publications and many more. Libraries wishing to order commercial titles may select from the following subject areas:

MyiLibrary offers an extensive range of titles from major world organizations, including the following collections:

The IGO collections are available on a subscription basis; subscription periods can be for up to three years or more.

MyiLibrary will provide a License Agreement for your review and signature at the time you submit your order form.

How to Order or Renew

Orders are accepted at any time. Orders for commercial publisher eBooks are one-time purchases and the content is owned in perpetuity by the library. Orders for the IGO Collections are subscriptions, with no content rights in perpetuity.

Please complete the order/renewal form and fax it to MINITEX at 612-625-3569. To pay by credit card, please complete the credit card authorization form and order form and fax both documents to our secure fax line at 612-626-5380.
