Group Subscriptions

Libraries interested in subscribing to the electronic resources we offer at consortia pricing can subscribe in the following ways:

1. As an individual subscriber:

  • Subscriptions can begin at any time.
  • Pricing is based on the library's FTE, population served or the number of simultaneous users selected by the library.

2. As a participant in a group subscription:

  • Subscriptions have a specific start date.
  • Participants in the group subscription may share access to a pool of simultaneous users.
  • Participants may pay a portion of the total cost that is based on their FTE or population served.
  • The number of simultaneous users and the associated discounted pricing may be dependent on the number of participants in the group subscription.
  • In most cases, libraries interested in subscribing to a group mid-year are able to begin their subscription during the existing term and pay a prorated amount for access during the remainder of the subscription period.
