The Arrowhead Library System, serving the rural residents and member community libraries of seven counties in northeastern Minnesota, is geographically the largest library system in the state. It is a triangular region situated between the western shore of Lake Superior and the Canadian border, which stretches 226 miles from Grand Portage on Lake Superior westward to the Northwest Angle.
Arrowhead Library System serves the counties of Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, Lake of the Woods and St Louis.
