ELM on the MnLINK Gateway

Some of the ELM electronic resources are available through the MnLINK Gateway for authorized Gateway participating libraries. The MnLINK Gateway is a World Wide Web-based virtual library, providing access to multiple information resources, including open access to participating Minnesota library catalogs and secured access to available electronic databases.

ELM databases that are not currently available via MnLINK are: Kids InfoBits, Junior Reference Collection, Discovering Collection, Professional Collection, EBSCO MegaFILE, ¡Informe!, and NetLibrary. For comprehensive access to ELM resources, please visit http://elm4you.org/.

All Library and school buildings are IP authenticated for access. If you are prompted for your User ID and Password or PIN, please contact ELM Support at elm@umn.edu or 1-800-462-5348 and ask for assistance from the Reference Services or Cooperative Purchasing & Electronic Resources Services units.

Remote access is available via ID—the barcode number from a participating Minnesota public library card. The card must be in good standing (no overdue fines, etc.). A Password or PIN number is often not required, and this field might be left blank.
