EBSCO

To access your EBSCO usage reports, go to EBSCOadmin and enter your customer ID and password. If you need your customer ID and password, contact EBSCO Technical Support at 800-758-5995 or eptech@epnet.com.

EBSCOadmin automatically collects usage statistics on EBSCOhost usage within your library system or consortium. They can be used to measure how often titles and databases are searched.

Title, database, session and link activity statistics can be collected for specific time periods (monthly or annually), limited to a specific data field, and sorted. These reports can be viewed or emailed in HTML, Tab Delimited or Comma Delimited format.

Accessing The Library Resource Center

You will need a personal, free account to access your usage data (create a personal NetLibrary account).

After you have created your account, click on the "Help" tab and select the "Contact Us for Further Assistance" link from the "Help Topics" box. Using the web form, email NetLibrary requesting that your personal account be allowed access to your institution's usage data.

1. Go to NetLibrary's Library Resource Center page.

2. Login:

  • Username: (personal account username, you choose)
  • Password: (personal account password, you choose)

OCLC

Login to the usage statistics service using your library's nine-digit FirstSearch authorization number and administrative password. To access your authorization number and password, please contact Rita Baladad (rita@minitex.umn.edu / 612-626-8252 / 800-462-5348) or Mary Parker (m-park1@umn.edu / 612-624-1024 / 800-462-5348).

Monthly reports are included for individual accounts. Each month, OCLC adds another month to the statistics service. After the service includes 25 months of reports, OCLC will remove the earliest month when adding a new month. Thus, the service always includes the latest 25 months of reports.

Overview reports combine data for all databases, including the number of sessions, searches and full-text documents used. They also provide data about the actual number of simultaneous users of the account. Other reports provide data about each database, including the number of searches and full-text documents used.

ProQuest

Electronic usage reports are part of the ProQuest Local Administrator Application. To access this feature, you must have a Local Administrator ID and password. Please contact ProQuest Customer Service at 800-889-3358 or tsupport@il.proquest.com to have a Local Administrator account set up.
