Directors and senior staff from MINITEX libraries came together for a meeting entitled, "Merging Tradition & Innovation—A Visionary Future for Libraries."
Meeting participants were challenged to set their focus on libraries and library services for a future that will combine ubiquitous electronic information and traditional library resources; users who expect instant, filtered information retrieval and those who conduct in-depth, scholarly research; and new demands on staff along with the need to continue a full range of traditional library services.
