More than 150 staff members of MINITEX participating libraries attended the 13th Annual MINITEX Interlibrary Loan Conference on April 8, 2004. Laura (Lolly) Gasaway discussed the nitty-gritty of copyright in her keynote presentation, "Copyright Concerns for Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery."
Small group discussions gave attendees a chance to network and discuss two questions: "What improvements have you made in your ILL operation that have resulted in better service to your patrons?" "What are the three most critical issues your library faces in interlibrary loan?"
The group also honored Ann Kelley, who retired after working with MINITEX for 27 years as program manager at the Minnesota Higher Education Services Office (and its predecessor agencies). Bill DeJohn closed the day's events with a review of MINITEX activities and a look toward the future.
