The Minnesota Digital Library (MDL) wants to help Minnesota organizations with implementation of the standardized rights statements available from rightsstatements.org for their archival collections. These statements make it easier to understand the copyright status of individual items, and reduce uncertainty around potential uses. In addition to our training events on the topic, we are offering monthly Open Office Hours, where MDL contributors and others can come and ask any questions they have relating to assigning rights statements to their collection. The first of these will happen on Wednesday, February 17th at 10:00 am. This event is free and open to the public. Please join us!
