Minnesota's multitype library systems host a continuing education calendar for library staff at mnlibs.org. The calendar incorporates major local and national events as well as training opportunities from across the community, listed by region.
Metronet Director Ann Walker Smalley says the multitypes launched the statewide calendar earlier this year hoping to "fill a niche for Minnesota library staff looking for a one-stop place to find continuing education opportunities. The goal was to make it easy to find events without having to go to the web sites of 19 separate regional systems, MLA/ITEM, ALA, Minitex, and more."
