PALS, the central service agency for a large consortium of libraries in Minnesota, is seeking an innovative and experienced leader to serve as its Executive Director. For more information and to apply, see the online job posting. Applications are due by July 5, 2017.

The PALS team has established itself as a leading library partner in Minnesota and the greater Midwest for nearly 40 years by creating and maintaining integrated systems for information access. The consortium is a highly collaborative community of customers who work in close partnership with the PALS team to influence direction and implement the latest, most innovative technologies into our service offerings.

PALS provides automated library services via a shared Aleph system for all Minnesota State college and university libraries, private college and university libraries, state government libraries, and special libraries. Our new Executive Director will lead us through the process of migrating to a shared Alma/Primo system.

In addition, PALS hosts and supports the Islandora open-source digital asset management system for an ever-growing customer base.
