Elissah Becknell and Sara Ring will present Minitex Cataloging & Metadata Update: Inspiring Initiative on Thursday, September 28 at 1:30 p.m. We will update you on some of the interesting new projects and important developments in the cataloging and metadata universe. We'll share information about RDA (Resource Description and Access), BIBFRAME, and linked data implementations. We'll report on a new pilot project that just wrapped up and tested whether adding digital content to Wikimedia Commons and connecting library digital collections to Wikipedia and Wikidata results in increased access and use of digital collections.
