State Library Services requests proposals to plan and facilitate a monthly online series in 2024 for Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) library workers in Minnesota to provide support, connection, and professional development.

The series should include both speaker-led presentations and participant discussions focused on racial equity topics in Minnesota libraries, especially the experiences and needs of Black, Indigenous, and people of color working in Minnesota libraries. The responder will also help to plan a virtual, half-day mini-conference in spring 2024 for BIPOC library workers in Minnesota. Proposals must be received via email to mai.kia.vang@state.mn.us, no later than 4 p.m. Central Time, November 8, 2023 and should include “BIPOC Library Workers Facilitator Quick Call Proposal.“
