Body

In these project management open office hours, there has been a lot of discussion around the planning phase of projects. Planning is a very important part of a project. If a project is not well-planned it can lead to potential risks and ultimate failure. However, planning is only one part of a project’s life cycle. In this session, we will explore the four phases that make up the life cycle of a project and the importance is of each phase.

Each project management conversation will provide a short overview of a specific concept, method, skill, or technique that can be applied to a variety of projects, followed by time for an interactive discussion of current work. These open office hours are designed to be a space for learning opportunities, community discussion, and sharing of ideas and practices in how to manage any library project. You can join at any time during the hour, but registration is required. Click here to register for the December 13th session.
