Body

The 23 Linked Data Things project organizers are pleased to announce that Things 20-22 are now published and available on the website. Thing 20, by Lizzy Baus (Macalester College), introduces options for adding uniform resource identifiers (URIs) to MARC fields. Thing 21 is guest-authored by Claudia Berger (Sarah Lawrence College) and explores different types of data visualizations. Thing 22, written by Violet Fox (Northwestern University), will help you distill the value of what you have learned about linked data so you can more easily share it with others.

Thanks to our new and returning authors for contributing to the project! Visit the homepage of the project to learn more, or follow the individual links below to browse the new Things:

About 23 Linked Data Things

23 Linked Data Things is a free self-paced online learning program that provides a structure for investigating linked data projects and obtaining hands-on experience in creating linked data. It is designed for library staff who want to learn more about linked data principles and explore how linked data can transform the way we think about metadata.
