The 23 Linked Data Things project team is delighted to announce the completion of our free, self-paced online learning project, with the publication of Thing 23. Reflections on the Future of Linked Data. This lesson shares our thoughts on the future of linked data in libraries and archives and highlights some exciting new projects.

We'd like to thank everyone who has participated and encourage you to keep sharing the project with colleagues. Once you've completed all 23 Things, please email Sara Ring to request your digital completion badge so you can share it with the world! We plan on updating the project pages on a yearly basis and we've added a "last updated" date to the main project page. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any broken links, questions about the content, ideas for future collaboration, or anything else—we're always thrilled to hear about how people are using the 23 Things.

Finally, a big thanks to everyone who contributed to the creation of the 23 Linked Data Things project, from consultation to guest authoring to hosting conversations. With over 22,000 pageviews and participation from around the world, we know many people have found value in this project, and we're proud of what we were able to accomplish together.

It is designed for library staff who want to learn more about linked data principles and explore how linked data can transform the way we think about metadata.
