Body

Minitex is excited to announce a new partnership with Lynda.com (soon to be “LinkedIn Learning”), offering access to the online learning platform for public libraries. Haven’t heard of Lynda.com before? Have a quick read about what they do here.

This offering would bring over 7K courses to your patrons and staff allowing individuals to learn in-demand skills whenever, wherever. From presentation skills, test prep, data science, writing your resume, using Photoshop and much more, individuals can keep busy at home, on-the-go, or at the library. This exclusive offer means you could get up to a 30% discount, however, for this program to take form, we need enough public libraries to show interest.

To show interest or have your questions answered, please contact your Minitex representative (Anne Hatinen, cpers@minitex.umn.edu), ccing the Lynda.com contact, Kate Ovington, kovington@linkedin.com.

To learn more, attend a complimentary webinar on Wednesday January 30, 2019 at 12pm CST. To join the meeting click here and enter access code: 928 879 890. Alternatively, audio-only is available by dialing toll-free 1-314-888-1153.
