In print since 1949, the OCD has grown from almost 160 to over 6,300 entries on a wide range of topics, and has become an unrivaled single-source reference for the study of the Greco-Roman world. Now a part of the Oxford Research Encyclopedia program, the new OCD is an enhanced, free-standing site for the acclaimed title, featuring monthly updates with new and revised articles. A highly discoverable site will ensure that the Dictionary remains the premier source for authoritative reference on the ancient world.
