Do you have students and faculty who could benefit from a quick refresher on searching PsycINFO? Do you need a supplemental handout for instruction sessions for behavioral science courses? Our Quick Reference Guides are here to help!

The Quick Reference Guides were developed for users searching PsycINFO on APA PsycNET and various vendor platforms. They provide the user with a quick reminder of how to search the database – ideal for library instruction sessions. While they were designed to be pocket-sized guides that fold up into a neat package, they are also available online for you to quickly and easily share a link or run off a few copies:

APA PsycNET (http://www.apa.org/pubs/databases/training/psycnet.pdf)

EBSCOhost (http://www.apa.org/pubs/databases/training/ebsco.pdf)

OvidSP (http://www.apa.org/pubs/databases/training/ovid.pdf)

ProQuest (http://www.apa.org/pubs/databases/training/proquest-qrg.pdf)

If you would like Quick Reference Guides mailed to you, we will be happy to do so – free of charge! Just send a note topsycinfo@apa.org.  Be sure to indicate which platform you use to access PsycINFO, how many you would like (up to 500 at a time), and your complete mailing address. We will get them in the mail within a week or so.

ProQuest Users - Please note that the ProQuest QRG is being updated and redesigned, and print versions are not currently available. As soon as the new guide is available you will find it at the link above. We thank you for your understanding!
