Last year, EBSCO moved History Reference Source, Science Reference Source, and their DIY reference interfaces to the new Explora research experience for schools and public libraries. This coming July, EBSCO will automatically move four more reference interfaces to Explora. Databases impacted include:

  • Biography Reference Source
  • Consumer Health Complete
  • Literary Reference Plus
  • Literary Reference Source

The benefits of accessing these databases through Explora are:

  • Users will enjoy a more consistent search experience.
  • Explora’s highly visual, fully responsive interface offers a manageable set of filters to support novice researchers.
  • Popular or timely topics are displayed at the top of the home page and updated frequently to jump-start research, inspire further investigation and support classroom instruction.
  • Curated categories provide users with a visual entry point to browse popular topics.
  • Topic Explorer pages let users dig in and discover related sub-topics with greater ease.

To learn more about the transition of these reference databases to the new Explora, please consult EBSCO's FAQ on EBSCO Connect.
