Body

History Day research helps students develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and reading skills. It also helps students build their self-esteem and confidence. This year's theme, Breaking Barriers in History, is designed to help students think about overcoming obstacles, the effects they had at the time and how they can be interpreted today. In this one hour session, we will discuss the NHD theme and how to apply it to research and final projects. We will also look at the best ELM resources for primary and secondary sources and non-ELM resources, including Minnesota-specific resources, will also be covered.
