Following our first regional meeting in northwestern Minnesota in August, Minnesota Digital Library (MDL) staff are traveling to southwestern Minnesota in September to host a second regional meeting in Pipestone. Join us on Monday, September 18th for a full program including news on new MDL collections and initiatives, an overview on how to apply standardized rights statements to digital collections, and opportunities to connect with colleagues during breaks and lunch. After lunch, MDL Digital Curator Stephanie Hess will lead a hands-on workshop on how to create digital story maps, building one with the group in real time. This free, in-person event starts at 10:00 a.m. and wraps up at 3:00 p.m. Registration is available via the Minitex website and closes Wednesday, September 13th. We hope to see you in Pipestone!
