Maggie Snow appointed to lead Minitex

I am pleased to share the news that Maggie Snow has accepted the position of Director of Minitex, beginning February 24, 2020. Maggie brings significant experience to the role, including appointments in the Missouri River Regional Library, Austin (Minnesota) Public Library, Carver County Library, and Minneapolis Public Library/Hennepin County Library. She currently serves as Director of the Anoka County Library, an eight-branch system serving 340,000 residents.

Minnesota Digital Library (MDL) has kicked off a new service we’re calling Scan for Keeps. We have purchased two high-quality portable scanners and related equipment we can take into the community to facilitate engagement with folks who might have items of historical interest and to provide them with digital copies of their materials.
