Registration is now open for the Minitex Technical Services Symposium, taking place on October 30 at the Minnesota History Center in St. Paul. The program will feature keynotes Tricia MacKenzie and Kim Edwards, co-editors of the book "Telling the Technical Services Story," along with a full slate of breakout sessions in line with our theme: Creating a Sustainable Future in Technical Services. We welcome proposals about invisible labor, storytelling, cooperation, communicating value, responding to emerging technologies and standards, and more! Submit by the September 1st deadline.

The West Central Technology Conference will take place on July 26 at Alexandria Area High School in Alexandria, Minnesota. The conference bills itself as "Created by IT professionals, for IT professionals, focusing on all things technology in business, government, and education." Registration is $35.

Keynotes announced for October 17-18 conference

We are pleased to announce the keynotes for the October 17-18 MN+ Digital Collections Conference and MDL Annual Meeting. Dr. Kirsten Delegard from the project Mapping Prejudice will open the program on October 17th (in-person day). John Garrison Marks from the American Association for State and Local History (AASLH) will keynote the virtual day of the conference on October 18th, discussing AASLH's new Reframing History initiative and toolkit.
